Genshin Impact just wrapped up Version 6.2 Luna III in a bang.
I won’t do spoilers right now.
You’ll find them further below, though.
For a recap of what happened, you can just check out the previous post I wrote about Luna III.
In this post, I’m gonna share some Genshin Impact 6.3 predictions I have that pertains to the storyline and upcoming Archon Quests.
Again, there are spoilers below.
Columbina Will Stay in Teyvat

The central plot in the Archon Quests: A Nocturne of the Far North and Melting Moonlight in the Morning Mist was Columbina returning home to the Moon.
The Traveler and his Nod-Krai and Fatui friends were told by Alice to discover her true name to make her reappear once again, and then during the festival, she can go home.
Up until the very end, it certainly looked like Columbina was heading home until Dottore made his long-awaited appearance:
Wow…
Yeah, it’s clear that Columbina won’t be returning to the Moon anytime soon. But, if Dottore is serious about using all the powers of the moon, it means the moons will once again be defying the will of the Heavenly Principles.
When this happened the first time when the Second Descender used the Moon to battle the Heavenly Principles, they shattered both moons and hid the third one beyond the fake sky.
Dottore is attempting to repeat history, which means there may not be a home to go to for Columbina when she’s finally rescued.
I’ll get more to that later, as it’s time to talk about Dottore.
Dottore is Finally the Central Antagonist (For Now…)

This wannabe Orochimaru thug finally showed his true colors and stole the Moon’s power for himself.
He went directly against the orders of the Tsaritsa as Arlecchino said she recalled him back to Snezhnaya when she informed her of Dottore’s strange habits and the fact that his presence wasn’t necessary in Nod-Krai.
But we learned from Nahida that Dottore has fragments of himself all over Teyvat. I’m sure Arlecchino knew this, too, but she didn’t count on him directly disobeying the Tsaritsa as while he is powerful, defying an Archon is suicide and she could cut off his resources (from the Rooster and Regrator) in a flash.
But, he surprised us all and did it anyway.
This means he plans on usurping the Tsaritsa with the power of the Moon and doing whatever he wants.
This is bad…
Very bad…
It causes a rift with the Fatui and creates huge inbalance in Teyvat.
As a result, several more new characters will now appear.
The Tsaritsa Will Make Her Debut

The Tsaritsa has been hidden for a while now.
We have no idea who she is.
But, we will have an audience with her as soon as the Nod-Krai arc is done.
Meaning, the perfect time for the writers to insert her into the main story is now.
The Tsaritsa prohibits the Fatui from fighting against one another, but she is an Archon and won’t take Dottore’s betrayal lying down.
I predict we’re finally going to see her in the conclusion of Columbina’s arc where she will personally deal with Dottore. Maybe she won’t take him down and the Traveler will.
But, she will bring him back to Snezhnaya and “handle” him. This is the perfect segue into us getting an audience with her, and we may finally understand why she wants the Gnoses.
I don’t believe she’s just coming to clean house, though. Something else will force her hand, and I’ll get to that further below.
Alice Will Finally Explain What’s Really Going On

Alice made her quirky entrance with Nicole (N) in the recent Archon Quests, and she later revealed even she was duped by Dottore and is now angry and wants him gone.
Alice is the most experienced adventurer in Teyvat and knows the entire world like the back of her hand. Dottore catching her by surprise certainly is a shock for her.
This forces her hand to reveal some revealing details about the Abyss, the fake sky, the Descenders, and the Heavenly Principles.
We got a lot of Moon lore from Nicole already, but we’re missing lore about the Second Descender’s battle with the Heavenly Principles as that now matters in finding out what Dottore is up to.
He literally said the Moon doesn’t belong to the Heavens as a direct insult at them.
The Heavenly Principles are definitely going to respond.
The Heavenly Principles Will Show Their Power… and Cruelty

Asmoday was known as the “Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles” and she’s now missing since the events of separating the Traveler twins.
I suspect that’s why the Heavenly Principles have been quiet for a while despite some real illegal shit going down in Teyvat.
I suspect she’s been taken by the Abyss, but we’ll get to that another time.
Anyway, Dottore is causing a global disaster by harnessing the power of the Moon for himself, meaning we’re going to finally see an appearance from them.
It’s gonna be pretty brief, I bet. And, I think it’s going to set up a moment where we get some clarity into the Tsaritsa’s beef with them,
She likely believes they are cruel and unjust, as she’s going against their wishes by taking every Gnosis in Teyvat. Maybe we’ll finally see what’s really going on.
The Traveler Learns More About the Spaceship and Unlocks More Power

Why does it seem like the Traveler gets stronger with each Archon quest without any power boosts.
Remember, he got wrecked by La Signora in Mondstadt and then beat her ass in Inazuma without breaking a sweat.
He clearly got outclassed by Raiden Shogun but fought as equals with Mavuika against Gosoythoth.
Now, he’s fighting a fully-powered up Dottore without getting frozen or knocked into space.
Dude is always getting stronger.
Anyway, we got a few clues about his spaceship in the last Archon quest, and now that we know Dottore was behind those illusions, it makes sense to revisit the spaceship to get some clues as to how the Traveler got to Teyvat.
Without Columbina to rely on this time, he’s the only person qualified to fight Dottore one-on-one.
And, we can finally see a battle where he claims a worthwhile victory.

Dante is Editor-in-Chief (Lord Hokage), which means he runs editorial and operations at BrandAnime. That means this whole thing was his idea, and he spends his time making stuff work and covering the latest anime and games. When he's not doing 100 things at once, he's usually... watching anime or playing games. His life isn't that interesting, honestly.
