On the Precipice of the Abyss is the centerpiece story quest of Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.4, bringing together major narrative threads while introducing Dialyn, Banyue, and Ye Shunguang, new threats like Sara, and some of the most emotional scenes in the series so far.

This is the beginning of the quest, setting up your meeting with Dialyn, Banyue, and Ye Shunguang as you look for clues for Ye Shunguang’s brothers’ whereabouts.

In this quest, we learn of Ye Shunguang‘s true identity and the emotional stakes of her using her sword, as well as some hidden storyplots concerning Dialyn and Banyue.

This is the calm before the storm as we spend some time with Ye Shunguang, while also seeing Sara at work.

This quest features the final confrontation with Sara and a showdown with the proto-Creator.
