The Dahlia, or maybe people will know her as Constance better, is finally playable in Honkai: Star Rail version 3.8! The Dahlia is a Support character who can deal Super Break DMG to enemeis even before they are in Weakness Broken state. She can add extra Weaknesses to enemies and boost Weakness Break Efficiency for all allies in various ways.

This guide will cover The Dahlia’s best Light Cones, Relics, team compositions, and how to optimize her talents in Honkai: Star Rail.

The Dahlia Kit in Honkai: Star Rail

Upon the many unique Amphoreus kits that were different than each other, The Dahlia brings back the sense of simplicity by how easy-to-understand her traits were. Let’s go over her kit and understand how she truly works in Honkai: Star Rail.

Her Basic ATK is a normal Fire DMG to a single enemy. This one is not too important but she will be using this most of the times after using Skill to generates SP for the team.

The Dahlia’s Skill is one of her bread and butter. It will deploys a Zone that lasts for 3 turn, with the Zone’s duration decreasing by 1 at the start of Dahlia’s turn. While using the Skill, she will also deal Blast Fire DMG (one designated enemy and their adjacent targets.

While the Zone is active, all allies’ Weakness Break Efficiency is increased. Not only that, this will also allow the team to deal Super Break DMG to enemies who are not in Weakness Broken state.

The Ultimate is her second bread and butter. She will deal AoE Fire DMG to all enemies, and inflicts “Wilt” state on them that lasts for 4 turns. Enemies with “Wilt” will gain DEF reduction (based on the talent level, 18% DEF reduction at level 10), and will also obtain the Weakness of Dahlia’s “Dance Partners” Type.

“Dance Partner” is from her Talent: Who’s Afraid of Constance. When entering combat, The Dahlia will regenerates her own Energy and grants “Dance Partner” to herself and the teammate who triggered combat.
For example: If The Dahlia’s “Dance Partner” is Firefly, she is Fire-Type. So once The Dahlia use her Ultimate. She will inflict Fire Weakness to all enemies with “Wilt” (if they don’t have it already).

That’s not all! With this talent, when “Dance Partner” is attacking an enemy target, The Dahlia will launces a Follow-Up ATK, dealing Fire DMG while also recovering 1 Skill Point for the team. The SP regeneration can be trigger once every 2 Follow-Up Attacks.

The Dahlia Showcase

In short, what you want to do is activate her Technique before combat to immediately activate her Zone when the combat start. Then use her Skill whenever the Zone duration has ended. While the Zone is active, use Basic ATK to generate extra SP for the team. When she has enough Energy to use Burst, use it and keep an eye out for the “Wilt” duration.

The Dahlia Synergy & Team Compositions in Honkai: Star Rail

This goes without saying that The Dahlia only wants to be in a Break team! The best DPS to synergize with her is Firefly, a top Break DPS.

But if you’re maining other Break DPS such as Rappa, Boothill, and Himeko, The Dahlia is still suitable for them. While The Dahlia is a Break support, she can also be paired with another Break support like Fugue, Harmony MC, or Ruan Mei. While for sustain, you can go with Lingsha or Gallagher.
