Reunion With the Dragon is a pivotal Archon Quest in Genshin Impact, continuing the storyline of Dvalin, the corrupted dragon.

This quest will see the Traveler and Venti working together to confront Dvalin’s rage and heal the corruption that controls him.

The Holy Lyre der Himmel is key to summoning Dvalin, and through this quest, you’ll face new challenges while diving deeper into Mondstadt’s history and the secrets of Venti.

Objective 1: Head to Starsnatch Cliff

Location: Starsnatch Cliff, Mondstadt
Directions:
- Teleport to the Temple of the Wolf waypoint in Mondstadt.
- From there, head northeast, passing through Thousand Winds Temple.
- Continue along the path to reach Starsnatch Cliff.

Objective 2: Talk to Venti

Location: Starsnatch Cliff
Action:
- Once at the top of the cliff, you will find Venti waiting for you. Speak with him, and he will begin playing the Holy Lyre der Himmel in an attempt to summon Dvalin.
- Dvalin will respond to the lyre’s melody, but a Cryo Abyss Mage suddenly intervenes, disrupting the ritual.

Objective 3: Battle the Abyss Mage

Location: Starsnatch Cliff
Action:
- You will be confronted by a Cryo Abyss Mage that attempts to sabotage the summoning ritual. Defeat the Abyss Mage to prevent it from interfering further.
- Combat Tips:
  - Use Pyro characters to counter the Cryo Abyss Mage’s elemental shield.
  - Be cautious of its frost-based attacks that can freeze your characters.

Objective 4: Watch the Events Unfold

Location: Starsnatch Cliff
Action:
- After the battle, Dvalin becomes enraged and attacks, causing chaos in Mondstadt. As a result, the Holy Lyre der Himmel is severely damaged during the confrontation.
- Venti will express concern about the condition of the lyre and the potential consequences for Dvalin’s purification.

Quest Completion

The Reunion With the Dragon quest concludes with the damage to the Holy Lyre der Himmel and sets the stage for future quests aimed at healing Dvalin.

At this point, you will need to continue progressing through the Archon Quests to help Venti and Mondstadt deal with the aftermath of this event.
