Portable Bearing is a Local Specialty in Nod-Krai version 6.0. While it does not like the usual plants, it is still a real ascension material required by certain characters in Genshin Impact (For now, it’s only Aino, though). Aside from being a local specialty, this material is also occasionally used as currency by merchants in Nasha Town.
Based on the description in Genshin Impact, this plant can be found in the Blue Amber Lake and Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. But there are actually many more places where you can find these materials! If you don’t want to find it yourself, this guide will help you locate all the Portable Bearings in Nod-Krai and the route to get them! A total of 72 Portable Bearings can be obtained in Nod-Krai within a few minutes!

Portable Bearing Easy Farming Route in Genshin Impact
You can refer the video above for the walkthrough from the start until finish, collecting all 72 Portable Bearings. No quests are required to be completed as the plants are located in areas that were already unlocked for everyone.
The first spot is Blue Amber Lake. Teleport to the waypoint north of Blue Amber Lake, and go under the small camp on the west for 9 Portable Bearings. Most of them are near each other, so you won’t have a hard time locating them. But if you want to make it easier, bring along one of these characters and they will mark the nearby Nod-Krai local specialty on the mini-map: Aino, Lauma, and Flins.
From the previous spot on the camp, head southwest towards the other side of the lake for another 6 Portable Bearings. All of them are near the lifts that you can interact with inside the The Tale-Telling Heart Quest. You can find the guide on where and how to complete it with this guide here.
From the previous spot, cross the lake once more and head northeast to the small settlement, and you can find another 5 Portable Bearings on boxes on top of the lift platform. But that’s not end! Go down to the bottom part of the settlement, and you can find another 8 Portable Bearings.
Now, teleport to the Nothing Passage southwest waypoint (above Radiant Moonfly boss), and head northwest to the spacious (puzzle) area. You can find 11 Portable Bearings here. This location is also the spot where you complete the The Power of Research Quest.
Note: If you have Kuuvahki energy, being near the Portable Bearings will automatically make it collected (also work for some other local specialties).
Then, head southeast towards the edge of the mountain to find another settlement below. Go downwards and collect all 9 Portable Bearings nearby.
For the third spot, we’re moving to Barrowmoss Barrens. Teleport to the waypoint east of Barrowmoss Barrens, and look east to the drained lake. There will be 3 Portable Bearings beside the robot. Then, go south for another 3 Portable Bearings.
Now, use the waypoint north of Barrowmoss Barrens, and head southeast towards the Unipolar Field puzzles (This is where you completed Team Rigor, or Team Intuition? Quest. The quest has lots of puzzles, so here’s the guide for them). This location has 9 Portable Bearings at your disposal.
The last spot to farm Portable Bearings in Genshin Impact is in Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. There are 9 Portable Bearings around this area. Please refer to the image above for their locations.
