Empowered State and Unipolar Objects are objects that can only be found in Nod-Krai, Genshin Impact. These items are mostly used as puzzles for Travelers to complete and get the rewards. In version 6.0, a quest named The Power of Research can be started in Nothing Passage, and players will need to complete this puzzle a lot of times.
Those who just arrives to Nod-Krai may not be accustomed to the Kuuvahki Energy and Unipolar Objects yet, so this guide will help you in finding the quest and the solution for all the puzzles.
Genshin Impact 6.0 Nod-Krai The Power of Research Quest Guide
Teleport to the Nothing Passage southwest waypoint, walk to the edge of the mountain on the west, and you will stumble upon someone calling for help in a thunderstorm. It’s just above the Radiant Moonfly Boss icon on the map.
In this quest, you’ll need to help a researcher activate the big round mechanism by pushing the assembly module to its designated position using Kuuvahki energy.
First of all, I’m sure you’re aware of the Kuuvahki Energy and how there are red and blue Kuuvahki Energy. First of all, know that the area you’re in for this quest has a strong Kuuvahki Environment, and you will enter the empowered state (blue one). You can see the effect on your outer screen and the moon icon just beside your character.
The containers that you will be pushing and pulling are called the Unipolar Objects. Some of them have red and some of them have blue Unipolar charge. And they can also have both colors.
To complete this puzzle, understand this basic reaction: If you have blue Kuuvahki energy, and you direct your power towards the blue Unipolar side of the container, it will REPEL the container. But if you use it on the red Unipolar side, it will ATTRACT the container. The same can be said with red Kuuvahki energy. If you use red on red, it will repel. But if you use red on blue, it will attract.
Dangerous Data Gathering 1
In each round, there are three paths around the Airspace Data Collector, and you need to go to each path and push the Assembly Module (or let’s just say it’s the container). In the first round, it is extremely simple as they just want to introduce the basic to you. Remember that right now, you have the blue Kuuvahki energy, so using it on red will pull, while using it on blue will push.
On the first path near Fanngel, the solution is to:
1) Pull the Module by the red charge first
2) Push the Module by the blue charge to the finish line
Go to the next puzzle on the left side. This one is the easiest one as it only has two blue charges and is on one way only. Just push the Module using the blue charge.
The last path will teach you that on a certain platform, the Assembly Module can be rotated.
1) Push the Module by the blue charge
2) Get near the Module and rotate it once so the shining part is facing the finish line
3) Push the Module by the blue charge again
Dangerous Data Gathering 2
Once you talk to Fanngel, the second round of puzzle with start, and the difficulty is increase a little bit as you need to send two Assembly Modules on each path to the Collector. Start by the first path right beside Fanngel.
1) Start by pushing the Modules that were stuck together by the blue charge. This will make the lone Module to be connected to one of the Module.
2) Push the lone Module from its blue charge and it will drag the connected Module to the right side
3) Rotate the Module near the Collector twice, then you can push the module by the blue charge from the back
4) Now for the remaining Module, push it from the blue glowing spot
5) Finally, push the same Module from the blue charge. The lone Module on the single path behind will push this Module to the front
Continue to the next puzzle (go counter-clockwise around the collector). For this one, Paimon will mention how the Assembly Modules are reversed and need to be restarted. You can do so by interacting with the bots on the side (can be used on every puzzles in this quest). After its restarted, follow the instructions below:
1) The Module near the Collector only need one more push through the blue charge
2) Go to the last Module at the end of the path, and push it once from the blue charge
3) Rotate the Module three times
4) Push the Module from the blue charge to the Collector
The last puzzle for this round is near the waypoint. The solution is:
1) Push the Module on the end of the path by the blue charge. It will move and push the Module in front of it to the platform in front
2) Rotate the Module on top the platform once and push it to the Collector via the blue charge
3) Now pull the last Module by the red charge two times to the rotation platform
4) Once on top of the platform, rotate it once and push it from the blue charge at the back
Dangerous Data Gathering 3
The last round will start after you talk to Fanngel. This time, you need to bring 3 Assembly Modules to the collectors, so you can expect high difficulty to complete it. But don’t worry, just follow the instructions below, and you’re good to go! As usual, let’s start with the puzzle near Fanngel.
1) Push the farthest Module by the blue charge three times following the path until the end
2) Now, push the second Module (on the left side) once by the blue charge to the rotation platform.
3) Rotate the Module two times so the glowing part will face the collector, then push it one more time from the blue charge
4) For the last Module, it’s basically the same as previous one. Push it from the blue charge once, rotate it once, and push it one last time to reach the collector
Go to the last Module puzzle by the waypoint, and this may be the most challenging yet. But once you know the tricks, it’s actually really easy.
1) First of all, rotate the Module nearest to the Collector once, before pushing it to the Collector by the blue charge
2) Now go to the farthest Module and push it from the glowing blue spot. It will make this Module push the one at the front to the rotation platform
3) Rotate the Module on top of the rotation platform three times, and push it to the Collector using the blue charge
4) Go back to the farthest Module and push it from the blue charge
5) Then, pull the Module from the red charge, and push it one more time from the blue glowing spot to the rotation platform
6) Rotate the Module three times and push it from the blue charge to the Collector
This finally marks the last puzzles inside The Power of Research Quest in Nod-Krai Genshin Impact, and you can continue the quest by simply following the navigation. But if by any chance you are stuck in this section (conduct the lightning to the rod), follow this instructions:
1) Pick up the Kuuvahki Relay Mechanism, and get near the lightning rod
2) Wait until a lightning hit the rod, and it will create a Unipolar Field on the ground
3) Jump on the Unipolar Field and stay gliding until the ‘Collecting data’ bar at the top fills up
After that, you will complete the quest while getting the Airspace Date Collector 2.0 and also the hidden achievement ‘Electric Dreams.’
