“Let the Wind Lead” is the fourth quest in Prologue: Act II – For a Tomorrow Without Tears in Genshin Impact.

In this quest, the Traveler and Paimon accompany Venti to Windrise to discuss matters concerning Dvalin and the Anemo Archon.

During their conversation, they face an unexpected adversary, leading to deeper revelations about the ongoing events in Mondstadt.

Walkthrough

1. Go to Windrise

After completing the previous quest, “That Green Fellow,” head to Windrise to meet Venti. Windrise is located southeast of Mondstadt City, marked by a large tree near a Statue of The Seven. If you’ve unlocked the Windrise Statue, you can teleport there directly for convenience.

Tips:

Unlock the Windrise Statue of The Seven if you haven’t already to facilitate faster travel.
Collect Anemoculi in the area to upgrade the Statue and receive stamina boosts.

2. Talk to Venti

Upon arriving at Windrise, you’ll find Venti near the base of the large tree. Approach him to initiate a cutscene where he discusses Dvalin’s condition and the influence of the Abyss Order. The conversation provides deeper insights into the challenges facing Mondstadt and hints at the next steps in your journey.

Key Points:

Dvalin’s Turmoil: Venti elaborates on Dvalin’s suffering and the corruption affecting him.
Abyss Order’s Role: The Abyss Order’s involvement becomes more evident, setting the stage for future confrontations.

3. Defeat the Creature

During your discussion with Venti, an enemy known as the Eye of the Storm interrupts, initiating a battle. This creature is an Anemo-based foe with specific attack patterns.

Eye of the Storm Attack Patterns:

Spinning Charge: The creature gathers wind energy and charges at high speed. Dodge sideways to avoid.
Aerial Slam: It ascends briefly before slamming down, creating an Anemo shockwave. Move out of the marked area to evade damage.
Anemo Barrier: Creates a circular wind barrier that deals continuous damage. Use wind currents within the barrier to stay airborne and minimize damage.

Battle Tips:

Elemental Advantage: Avoid using Anemo characters, as the Eye of the Storm is immune to Anemo damage. Opt for characters with Pyro, Electro, Cryo, or Hydro elements to exploit elemental reactions.
Ranged Attacks: Utilize Bow or Catalyst users to attack from a distance, especially when the creature is airborne.
Stamina Management: Keep an eye on your stamina to ensure you can dodge attacks effectively.

4. Talk to Venti

The Traveler and Paimon are staring at Venti.

After defeating the Eye of the Storm, speak with Venti again to conclude the quest. He will express gratitude for your assistance and share more about the looming threats to Mondstadt. This conversation sets the foundation for the subsequent quests in the Archon storyline.
