Chasing Shadows is the ninth quest in the Archon Quest Prologue: Act 2, “For a Tomorrow Without Tears.”

In this mission, you assist Venti in retrieving the stolen Holy Lyre der Himmel from the Fatui, aiming to purify the corrupted dragon, Dvalin.

1. Enter the Fatui Hideout

Objective: Locate and infiltrate the Fatui hideout to retrieve the Holy Lyre der Himmel.
Location: Near Springvale, Mondstadt.
Directions:
- From Mondstadt, head south to Springvale.
- Continue southeast from Springvale until you reach a lake with a small island.
- On the island, unlock the Teleport Waypoint.
- From the waypoint, head southeast to find the entrance to the Fatui hideout.

2. Interrogate the Guard

Objective: Obtain information about the Holy Lyre’s location.
Action:
- Inside the hideout, approach the Timid Guard on the right.
- Speak with him to learn that the key to the lyre’s storage room is held by another guard deeper within the ruins.

3. Search for the Key

Objective: Find the key to access the lyre’s storage room.
Instructions:
- Proceed deeper into the ruins, noting the two staircases on either side and the four rooms, each occupied by a guard.
- Right Room:
  - Contains a Greedy Guard.
  - You can choose to bribe him with “500,000 Mora” to avoid conflict, or refuse and engage in combat with a Fatui Electro Cicin Mage.
- Adjacent Room:
  - Guarded by Electro Cicins.
  - Clearing this room yields a Common Chest.
- Opposite Room:
  - Guarded by Pyro Slimes.
  - Clearing this room also yields a Common Chest.
- Upper Level Room:
  - The Timid Guard here holds the key.
  - Speak with him to receive the Hidden Key.

4. Unlock the Storage Room

Objective: Access the room containing the Holy Lyre der Himmel.
Action:
- Return to the central area and use the Hidden Key on the console to unlock the large door.
- Enter the room and activate the elevator to ascend to the upper level.

5. Retrieve the Holy Lyre der Himmel

Objective: Obtain the lyre and confront the guarding agent.
Action:
- At the top, you’ll encounter Fatui Agent Zamenhoff guarding the lyre.
- Engage and defeat Zamenhoff to claim the Holy Lyre der Himmel.

6. Conclude the Quest

Objective: Discuss the next steps with Paimon.
Action:
- After obtaining the lyre, speak with Paimon to conclude the quest.
- Paimon will suggest returning to Mondstadt to report your findings.

Additional Tips

Combat Preparation: Bringing characters with Pyro, Electro, Cryo, and Anemo abilities can be beneficial due to the elemental challenges within the hideout.
Stealth Approach: While combat is an option, you can choose to bribe certain guards to avoid unnecessary fights.
Exploration: Exploring the hideout thoroughly can uncover additional chests and resources.
