    Spy x Family Season 3

My favorite one of the season (sorry, MHA).

The Forger family is back, and yeah, this is the biggest title of the season. Spy dad, assassin mom, telepath kid, and a psychic dog. It’s action, it’s comedy, it’s family drama that actually hits.

Crunchyroll is streaming it worldwide starting October 4. This is our editor’s pick because it’s the one show everyone’s going to be talking about every week.

    My Hero Academia Final Season

Deku and the crew are in the last stretch.

The “Final War” and epilogue arcs are hitting anime form. For all of us that followed this show from the beginning, this is the end of one of the biggest shonen runs of the last decade.

You’ll want to see how Bones animates the finish.

Streams on Crunchyroll starting October 4.

    To Your Eternity Season 3

The most depressing fantasy series you keep coming back to. Fushi’s journey continues, and if you know this show, you already know you’ll be crying by episode two. It’s more existential dread, more bonds made and broken. Streams on Crunchyroll starting October 4.

    Digimon Beatbreak

The Digimon franchise refuses to die, and honestly, that’s a good thing. This new series is aiming at both kids and longtime fans, giving us another spin on the digital monsters formula.

Whether it pops off or quietly fades like some of the recent entries, we’ll see. Airs in Japan October 5, with Crunchyroll picking it up.

Dusk Beyond the End of the World

Post-apocalyptic sci-fi with romance baked in. Guy wakes up 200 years in the future, meets an android who proposes marriage, but he’s still chasing someone from his past.

P.A. Works is behind this one, and it’s part of their 25th anniversary. Could be one of the quieter hits. Premieres September 26 on Hidive.

    Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota

A romantic comedy that’s lighter than most of the heavy hitters this season. It’s literally about one character who can’t show emotion and another who shows too much.

Simple setup, but if they nail the chemistry, it’ll land.

    Drops October 4 on Crunchyroll.

    Si-Vis: The Sound of Heroes

Original music anime. Aniplex and Sony Music teamed up, with Hidari on designs, so at the very least it’ll look and sound pretty.

The story mixes superheroes with band vibes, which could either be dope or a total mess.

Either way, it’s fresh. Airs October 5 on Crunchyroll.

    A Gatherer’s Adventurer in Isekai

Yes, another isekai. But this one leans into the grind. It’s about gathering, crafting, and surviving, not just swinging swords.

If you’re into world-building and slow progression stories, it might scratch that itch. Streams on Crunchyroll sometime in October.

    Let’s Play

This one is a bit of a mystery. It looks like a lighter slice-of-life series to break up all the action this season.

You should watch the trailer for yourself. I think it’ll explain this series better than I can.

It’ll be on Crunchyroll in Fall 2025.

My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s

Another fantasy series, but it flips the usual hero trope. The assassin is stronger than the guy who’s supposed to be the chosen one.

Expect it to poke fun at overpowered characters while still giving you that power trip.

    It’s on Crunchyroll this season.
