A new Archon-level character has been released in Genshin Impact Luna IV, Columbina! Columbina is a Hydro character who enables the team to simultaneously trigger Lunar-Charged, Lunar-Bloom, Lunar-Crystallize reactions, while providing off-field damage and Lunar reaction support for the team.

Columbina Kit & Overview
Elemental Skill

When Columbina uses her Elemental Skill, she will summons a Gravity Ripple that follows the active chracter and continuously deals AoE Hydro damage to nearby opponents.
Note: If the Moonsign of the team is Ascendant Gleam, the Gravity Ripple AoE will have a wider area.

While the Gravity Ripple is active, she accumulates Gravity whenever any character in the party triggers or deals Lunar Reaction damage. When Gravity reaches its maximum, it automatically deals Gravity Ripple = Lunar Reaction damage of different types.
· Lunar-Charged: Gravity Interference will deal a single instance of DMG. This DMG is considered Lunar-Charged AoE DMG.
· Lunar-Bloom: Gravity Interference will fire 5 Moondew Sigils at surrounding opponents, dealing Lunar-Bloom DMG.
· Lunar-Crystallize: Gravity Interference will deal a single instance of Lunar-Crystallize AoE DMG.
While the Gravity Ripple is active, she accumulates Gravity whenever any character in the party triggers or deals Lunar Reaction damage. When Gravity reaches its maximum, it automatically deals Gravity Ripple = Lunar Reaction damage of different types.
Elemental Burst

Columbina will create a Lunar Domain, providing the following effects:
· Lunar-Charged: Thundercloud attack interval is reduced by 0.5s.
· Lunar-Bloom: When triggering Lunar-Bloom reactions, the party gains a special Moonridge Dew. Up to 3 Moonridge Dews can be gained every 18s.
· Lunar-Crystallize: When Moondrift Harmony is triggered, every Moondrift has a 33% chance to inflict an extra attack.
Special Charged ATK

This Charged ATK can only be used if there is a Dendro character in the team to trigger Lunar-Bloom reaction and obtain the Verdant Dew. When Columbina (or the team) posseses a Verdant Dew, her Charged Attack is converted into a Special Charged Attack (called Moondew Cleanse) that consumes no Stamina, dealing Lunar-Bloom damage.
Rotation
The rotation depends on whether you use Columbina as a Sub-DPS or Main DPS in the team.
If you’re playing as Sub-DPS, simple use her Skill and Ultimate, before going to the next support character to use their kit.
While if you’re playing as Main-DPS, you should still use her Skill and Ultimate beforehand (because it has a really long duration), then going to the next support characters, before going back to Columbina and spam her Special Charged Attack. Remember that it’s best if there is a Dendro character in Main DPS Columbina team so she can get the Verdant Dew.

Columbina Synergy & Team Compositions
As an ‘archon-like’ character, Columbina suits almost every Lunar reaction DPS because that’s what she’s great in. Not only that, she can be the only Nod-Krai character in the team, and still be able to trigger Lunar-reaction because of her kit.
Sub-DPS Columbina

If you play Columbina as the Sub-DPS, then obviously you’ll need a Main DPS for the team. The first option is definitely Nod-Krai DPS such as Nefer, Flins, and Zibai. There’s no doubt that having Columbina in their team is a total plus.

Next is the slot for support and sustain. Each Nod-Krai DPS (different Lunar-reactions) wants a different team. For example, Nefer wants Lauma, Flins wants Ineffa, and Zibai wants Illuga. Of course, that’s on the best case scenario. You can always opt for another character that you actually have like Nahida/Collei, Fischl/Ororon, Gorou, etc (again, depending on the Lunar-reaction that the team will be doing).
The sustain can be the one you think the most suitable for the team if they need it. Remember that Columbina’s best F2P weapon is Prototype Amber, so it will provide a decent healing to the team if you’re skilled at dodging enemies’ attack. If not, a shielder or healer may be important for the team, especially in the end-games. Below are the team examples for Sub-DPS Columbina:








Please note that there a LOT more team combinations that can fit in Columbina, and it’s not possible for me to list out everything. In addition, you can see some of the team above in actions from my video showcases below. More showcases can be seen at the bottom of this post!
Main DPS Columbina
For Main DPS Columbina in Genshin Impact, it’s best to have a Dendro character in the team so she can generate and keep the Verdant Dew. If not, you will not be able to use her Special Charged ATK. Of course, if you don’t bring another Dendro, you can just use her normal Charged ATK. The best combo would be N2C; 2 Normal ATK continued with Charged ATK.


Just like in Sub-DPS Columbina, you are recommended to bring along another Nod-Krai just to activate the Ascendant Gleam effect for her Skill and Artifacts (Night of the Sky’s Unveiling). Her best teammate would be Lauma or Ineffa. Afterwards, include any suitable teammates that can either reduce enemies RES, or character that can use Support Artifact set.
Columbina Talent Priority

Skill = Burst > Normal Attack
Both Columbina’s Elemental Skill and Burst are important because the former will provides constant off-field Hydro and Gravity Ripple damage, while the latter will increase the Lunar reaction damage for the team. Her Normal Attack is optional for boosting her personal damage.
