After the arrival of best 5-star support character in Zenless Zone Zero (Astra Yao), Proxies are wondering whether the new 5-star support character, Yuzuha, can reach her tier. Lo and behold, the developer made another best support, but with a twist: She’s excel in Anomaly team unlike Astra in Crit team.

Ukinami Yuzuha is an Agent who can provide powerful buffs to Anomaly teams. In combat, certain Yuzuha’s skills can inflict Sweet Scare status on enemies, providing ATK and DMG Bonus for the whole squad’s Anomaly Buildup Rate, increasing both Attribute Anomaly DMG and Disorder DMG for the whole team.

This guide will cover Ukinami Yuzuha’s best W-Engines, Discs, team compositions, and which skills to prioritize in Zenless Zone Zero.

Yuzuha’s Best W-Engines

Yuzuha’s Synergy & Team Compositions

Since Yuzuha is a support character in Zenless Zone Zero, of course she would have a DPS to pair with. Among all Anomaly Agents, these three (Yanagi, Jane, Piper) are perfect to be Yuzuha’s partner – after all, which DPS doesn’t want to speed up the Anomaly Buildup while also increasing their damage?

Miyabi is a special case. Despite being an Anomaly Agent, she prefers CRIT-related stats instead of Anomaly-related ones for optimal damage. In term of support, Astra may be better for her. However, this doesn’t mean Yuzuha can be ruled out as her buff strength is also great.

If you have Anomaly DPS aboves, now we’re talking about Anomaly Sub-DPS: Vivian and Burnice. With Yuzuha providing buffs for the whole team, these Sub-DPS can easily helps more Anomaly application while also dealing damage off-field.

Team Composition Examples

Here are multiple Yuzuha’s team example for most of the end-game in Zenless Zone Zero.

Yuzuha’s Talent Priority

Basic ATK > Chain ATK > Special ATK > Assist > Dodge

Yuzuha’s Mindscape Overview

Best Mindscapes: M1, M2 & M6

  • Mindscape 1 ★: Gain initial Energy when entering battle. Enemies with Sweet Scare state gain 10% reduction to All-Attribute RES. Finally, the Attribute Anomaly DMG and Disorder DMG buff is increased.
  • Mindscape 2 ★: Provides more buffs (15% DMG Bonus and 15% Anomaly Buildup) for the whole team with certain attacks. Landing a Heavy Attack on enemy that is not stunned will trigger a Chain Attack, and when the next characters enter through said Chain Attack, Yuzuha will gain 1 Sugar Points. Her Basic ATK: Hard Candy Shot cooldown is also reduced.
  • Mindscape 3: Basic Attack, Assist, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2
  • Mindscape 4: Increase 30% DMG for some of Yuzuha’s attack (Assist Follow-Up: Stuffed Hard Candy Shot and Assist Follow-Up: We Have Cookies), and her Anomaly Buildup by 20%. Those attacks will also trigger a Quick Assist.
  • Mindscape 5: Basic Attack, Assist, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2
  • Mindscape 6 ★: Gain additional Sugar Points. Hold Normal Attack to charge and release it to fire extra shell on enemy. Each charge consumes 1 Sugar Points to consume, and increase all squad members’ Disorder DMG Multiplier. If these shells hit an enemy under Sweet Scare, it will trigger Basic Attack: Sugarburst Sparkles – Max. If Yuzuha is attacked while charging, she will automatically dodge the attack and immediately unleash the max-charged attack.
