The long-awaited anime adaptation of Witch Hat Atelier has finally revealed its first official trailer, and the visuals are already blowing up across the community.
BUG FILMS is handling animation production, bringing Kamome Shirahama’s award-winning art to life with a style that stays faithful to the original manga.
The trailer follows Coco, a young girl who dreams of becoming a witch even though the world believes magic is something you’re born with, not something you learn.
After crossing paths with the mysterious magician Qifrey, Coco discovers the hidden truth behind spellcasting and steps into a world far more dangerous and beautiful than she ever imagined.
The series is set to premiere in April 2026. The official site and X account have launched as well, giving fans their first look at the project’s tone and character designs.
