Eye of Kratti is not just a small island, it also hides a huge underground area called Beneath the Forsaken Sea. Said area is locked behind the Whisper Beneath the Waves Quest, which can be started on the surface of the island.
By completing this quest, you will unlock the area (that have 2 Lunaculus), collect all the treasure chests under there, and get a hidden achievement. This quest guide will help you to start the quest and complete it until the end in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact Nod-Krai Whisper Beneath the Waves Quest Guide
Teleport to the Eye of Kratti waypoint, head east past the huge beautiful tree, and you will see a shipwreck and 2 ghosts. Go near the ghost and they will mention about Proof of the Cognoscenti.
Note: This place will unlock an underground area called Beneath the Forsaken Sea. There will be 2 Lunaculus in this area.
After the conversation ends, go near the plants that give Kuuvahki energy, and pick up a rock to throw at the shipwreck. Enter the hole through the ship and you will start this quest.
Once you’re in the new underground area, the quest only navigates you to ‘continue exploring.’ Here, continue following the path until you see a glowing plant on the ground (look at the image above for the specific location). There will be an option to touch, so do it, and a school of purple fish will float past you.
Once the purple fishes meet with another school of fishes, it will create a Kuuvahki Dewdrop. You can pull it to your side and throw it at the blue barrier on the opposite side. Continue heading deeper into the cave.
Further inside, there will be another Kuuvahki Dewdrop that you used before on top of the water. Pick it up and use it to destroy the next barrier. Don’t let it touch any of those blue Unipolar fields on the wall, or it will be absorbed, and you need to pick it up again.
Further inside the cave, you will see a blue glowing tree root (it’s the tree root of the huge tree in Eye of Kratti). Your task here is to find three Kuuvahki Dewdrops that were created by finding the purple school of fishies and bringing them back to the root.
To make it more simpler, there are three blue ‘pillars’ around the main tree root. You can see that each of the pillars has purple fishes swirling around them. For each pillar, you need to find two purple fishes to generate a Kuuvahki Dewdrop.
Once the Kuuvahki Dewdrop is generated, you can pick it up and throw it at the root.
Note: Each tree root and their second purple fishes are actually near each other. If you have a hard time finding them, look at the images above for the locations.
Once the puzzle is done, go back to Eye of Kratti to claim the treasure chest that will provide you with Proof of the Cognoscenti: Inscripta-Cognoscenti’s Feather. In addition, you will also get the achievement Fiddler’s Green after completing the quest.
