The budding couple Kyotaro and Anna are coming to the big screen in select theaters on February 16th (subbed) and February 18th (dubbed).

Here is the official synopsis in case you’re making plans to go see it:

The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie retells and expands the story of middle schooler Kyotaro Ichikawa, a socially awkward boy who harbors dark fantasies and spends his days lost in morbid thoughts. His life begins to change when Anna Yamada, a cheerful and unpredictable classmate, unexpectedly enters his world. As Anna’s unpredictable actions — from casually eating rice balls in the library to closing the distance between them — leave Kyotaro off balance, he begins to experience feelings he’s never felt before. Meanwhile, Anna finds herself drawn to Kyotaro in ways she didn’t expect. Through shared moments, misunderstandings, and clumsy, heartfelt emotions, the distance between them gradually closes, and both begin to understand what it truly means to “like” someone. The film compiles both seasons of the anime with new scenes that depict events following the end of the second season and continues the developing relationship between Kyotaro and Anna.

Hiroaki Akagi will be directing this film and is coming over from directing both seasons of the TV anime. Shin-Ei Animation will also be producing this film (original TV anime producer), so there is quite a bit of continuity happening in this project.
