Anime news dropped back-to-back this week, and both updates are worth keeping on your radar. One is a brand-new adaptation, and the other is a continuation fans were hoping for.
Let’s break it down.
Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time Gets a Second Season

First up, Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time. This fantasy isekai about a salaryman summoned into another world with the gift of alchemy is officially getting a second season.
The first season ran earlier this year. While it was not the flashiest show of the season, it quietly built a fanbase that enjoyed its mix of laid-back vibes and world-building.
The main character’s goal has always been simple: live a peaceful life. Of course, the irony of isekai means trouble always finds him no matter how much he tries to avoid the spotlight.
Season 2 was announced on September 11, 2025. Details like the release date or new cast members have not been confirmed yet, but fans can look forward to seeing how the alchemist’s adventures continue.
If you liked the “reluctant hero” energy of the first season, this is a good one to keep tabs on.
Victoria of Many Faces Gets a TV Anime Adaptation
The very next day, we got news of something brand new. Victoria of Many Faces is heading to TV as a full anime adaptation.
The series started as a light novel by Syuu and later spun off into a manga that Yen Press picked up in English.
Now Studio DEEN is producing the anime, with Nobukage Kimura directing and Naohiro Fukushima overseeing the scripts. Character designs will be handled by Mina Ōsawa.

Voice cast so far includes:
- Chika Anzai as Victoria
- Shion Wakayama as Nonna
- Yōhei Azakami as Jeffrey
Not much has been shown yet, but the premise centers on fantasy drama and layered character work. With three light novel volumes already out in Japan and the manga gaining traction, this adaptation feels timed to catch momentum.

Dante is Editor-in-Chief (Lord Hokage), which means he runs editorial and operations at BrandAnime. That means this whole thing was his idea, and he spends his time making stuff work and covering the latest anime and games. When he's not doing 100 things at once, he's usually... watching anime or playing games. His life isn't that interesting, honestly.
