A new trailer for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 has been released, confirming that the series will officially return on July 5, 2026. This latest trailer gives fans a first look at the highly anticipated “Eris Training Arc” (Eris Shugyo-hen).

A 34-year-old hikikomori NEET who doesn’t work, doesn’t interact with others, and spends his days playing games and browsing the internet is involved in a traffic accident and dies …or so he thought, but the next moment he is reincarnated as a newborn baby in a world of swords and magic! Reborn as the boy Rudeus, he uses his memories and regrets from his past life as fuel to face encounters and trials, and the epic fantasy depicts his grand adventure as he “lives seriously this time”! After the first season from January 2021 and the second season from July 2023, the grown-up Rudeus has overcome numerous hardships and begun to build a new family. The third season, which will depict his life in even greater detail, is scheduled to air this summer from July 5th!

I’ve always loved Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation because it builds a world where every character has their own weight and struggle. Seeing Eris’s perspective in this new trailer really hits home for me. This season is going to be intense because it focuses on the “Eris Training Arc”. Eris feels she is not worthy of being with Rudeus and is determined to get stronger.

In this upcoming season, we’ll follow her to the “Holy Land of Swords” where she trains under the legendary Gal Farion to eventually face the Dragon God, Orsted. The trailer is so emotional, hearing her say she has to “get faster” and “become stronger” just so she can protect the person she loves is exactly why I find her character growth so compelling. With new rivals like Nina Farion entering the mix, the action at the Sword Sanctum is definitely going to be a highlight of the summer season.

It’s also great to hear Yuiko Ohara returning for the new opening theme, “Ketsui no Uta”, her music has been the soul of the series since the very first season.
