Pan Yinhu can finally be put to rest for a while as the only Sheer Force support with the arrival of Lucia in Zenless Zone Zero 2.3. Lucia is an S-Rank Ether Support, specializing in providing free Sheer Force bonus, Crit DMG, DMG Bonus, and more!
The developers make her kits looks overcomplicated, but it’s actually really easy. This guide will help you understand how her kits work, what’s her best W-Engine, Discs, and team composition that you can use for Lucia in ZZZ!

Lucia Kit & Overview
Dream Points
First of all, you need to know about her Dream Points because that is her whole mechanic (see image above). Once the Dream Points is full, Lucia will enter Dream state where you can get all her buffs.
How to gain Dream Points?
Now, Lucia has two type of attacks; Whim attacks & Harmony attacks.
When Lucia is outside of Dream state, all her attacks are Whim. When Lucia is inside of Dream state, all her attacks are Harmony dealing more damage.
You can gain Dream Points by using her Whim attacks. Keep in mind that you cannot gain Dream Points while in the Dream state.
TLDR
Whim = attacks outside of Dream State
Harmony = attacks inside the Dream State (and her EX Special Attack)
Dream State
As mentioned before, once it Dream State, Lucia’s attack will be converted to Harmony (aka it deals a bit more damage depending on her HP). You can easily tell when she’s in the dream state by the Ether Veil (the bubble effects around the screen).
Lucia Buffs
Now, what are the buffs that she will provide? There are 3 of them, and you can easily activate all of them inside Dream State (even when she’s off-field): Darkbreaker, Ether Veil: Wellspring, and Dreamer’s Nursery Rhyme.
Darkbreaker: Increase Sheer Force by 900 (based on Lucia Max HP) and 30% Crit DMG
Ether Veil: Wellspring: Increase Max HP by 5%
Dreamer’s Nursery Rhyme: Increase DMG by 20%
How to trigger Darkbreaker buff?
This one can be triggered by using her EX Special Attack. The EX Special Attack is a Harmony attack. Using this Skill with enough Energy will immediately proc this buff. The buff will stay for 20 seconds.
I’ve already mentioned above that the Sheer Force bonus from Darkbreaker is based on Lucia’s Max HP. The highest Sheer Force bonus she can give is 900, with her Max HP at 24,000. But the Crit DMG is permanently 30% so you don’t have to worry about that.
How to trigger Ether Veil: Wellspring?
Enter the Dream State, that’s it.
How to trigger Dreamer’s Nursery Rhyme?
Enter the Dream State and use a Harmony attack (also considered as Aftershock) to trigger this buff and get 20% DMG Bonus for 12 seconds.
Important: Lucia consumes 25 Dream Points every 8s to do a Harmony attack while in the Dream state. That means you can get this buff even if she’s off-field (as long as she’s in Dream state).
TLDR: Use her EX Special ATK every 20 seconds (or Ultimate when it’s available) and she will most of the time will enter Dream State and give you all this buff.
If you want more tips: When her Dream point is blue, use EX Special ATK when you have enough Energy.
That’s literally it. For all her overcomplicated-looking kit, all you have to do is use her EX Special or Ultimate when available, and change to the DPS. You can see in the GIF above. It’s super easy to get all her buffs.

Lucia Synergy & Team Compositions
I think it’s quite obvious that Lucia is a Rupture team support. Currently, there are only 2 Rupture DPS: Yi Xuan and Komano Manato (3 if we’re counting Yidhari, but she’ll be released in the second half of ZZZ 2.3).
Previously, the Sheer support was only Pan Yinhu. Now that you have (or will pull for) Lucia, you can replace any Pan Yinhu slot in the team to Lucia.
Team Composition Examples
Lucia as the Rupture support.
Yixuan / Manato / Yidhari as the Rupture DPS.
Ju Fufu / Trigger / Pulchra as Stunner. But you can also use Astra or Pan Yinhu as the second support.

Lucia Mindscape Overview
Best Mindscapes: M1, M2 & M6
- Mindscape 1 ★: When Dreamer’s Nursery Rhyme deals additional DMG, ignore 18% of enemy All-Attribute RES and have 5% increased Decibel Generation Rate. Each time Lucia performs a skill upgrade, she gains 1 stack of Echo, stacking up to 4 times. When Dreamer’s Nursery Rhyme ends, if Lucia has any Echo stacks, 1 stack is consumed to reapply Dreamer’s Nursery Rhyme to all squad members.
- Mindscape 2 ★: While Lucia is inside Ether Veil: Wellspring, Harmony deals 15% more DMG. Agents in the Darkbreaker state gain an extra 15% Sheer DMG while in Ether Veil: Wellspring.
- Mindscape 3: Basic Attack, Assist, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2
- Mindscape 4: When Ether Veil is activated or extended on the field, Lucia grants all squad members 100 Decibels. This effect can trigger once every 15s.
- Mindscape 5: Basic Attack, Assist, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2
- Mindscape 6 ★: When Lucia is inside any Ether Veil, her ATK increases by 2% of her initial Max HP. Harmony always triggers a CRIT, and Harmony CRIT DMG increases by 30%.
