The long-awaited Honkai: Star Rail version 4.0 livestream has just ended after providing the fans a lot of information and lore on the next planet. There are 3 new codes that were released in Honkai: Star Rail version 4.0 livestream, and each of them will gives you 100 Stellar Jades. In total, you will get 300 Stellar Jades. Don’t miss out this chance and click the link above to get the freebies!

New Characters
Two new characters will be released on version 4.0, and both of them will introduce us to the new path: Elation. The first character is Yao Guang (will be released in the first phase and stay until the end of second phase), and the second character is Sparxie (will be released in the second phase).

New Area
As we stepped in version 4.x, it’s obvious we’re heading to a new destination, especially when we just finished the catastrophe in Amphoreus. The Astral Express deserves some break after all that, and what’s better than a planet where Aha THEMSELVES watch over which will be filled with fun festivals. Oh yes, this planet is our lovely Himeko’s hometown!
New Mission
The Version 4.0 Trailblaze Missions related to the Elation will also last for a year (specifically mentioned by the developer in the livestream). And this time, the stage for our story isn’t limited to just Planarcadia!
In the second half of the year, the Express will also head to the headquarters of Interastral Peace Entertainment. Maybe we will meet the remaining of the Ten Stonehearts that we haven’t met yet!
New Events
There are not too many events in version 4.0, but that’s understandable because we will be exploring tons of new maps! Don’t worry though, we’re sure the Stellar Jades obtained from the exploration and events combined will be a LOT! Here are the events that will be released in the next version of Honkai: Star Rail.

New Quality of Life (QoL)
There are 4 optimization that will be done in Honkai: Star Rail version 4.0, and hopefully you will like them all! It’s the following:
1. Assignment System Optimization
2. Added preview for unactivated Relic stats (just like in Genshin Impact)
3. Team Lineup System Optimization
4. Phonograph now features white noise function
Personally, I think number 2 is the biggest QoL that HoYoverse can offer as it will no longer make us waste our materials to upgrade a relic to see what’s the 4th sub-stat is.
New Outfits
We will FINALLY be getting a new outfit for Trailblazer (although it looks like a recolor than a new outfit)! And of course, let’s not forget Ruan Mei’s too. Both of them are free and fortunately not gated behind paywall. So players can simply enter the game and fulfill the requirement to claim the new outfits! There’s also 4 new accessories that can be added to our Trailblazer’s head, but I’m sure people will appreciate the new outfit more than just the accessory.

Now for the million dollar question, when is the update date for Honkai: Star Rail version 4.0?
Great question and the answer is even better!
The maintenance will be done on February 13, which is just a week more! Be patient a little more and we will enjoy the new planet of Planarcardia!
