Honkai: Star Rail version 3.8 brings us back to Penacony, so people might have guessed that this patch is a filler before we’re going to the new planet. Filler or not, the developers did not forget to give us a lot of new achievements to find and complete. Here is the list of all achievements in version 3.8, and how to get them in Honkai: Star Rail.

The Rail Unto the Stars (6)
From achievement #1 to #6, you can obtain them all by completing the new Finality Mission in Penacony.
1) Virtuous’s Epitaph
The cost of holding onto beliefs is often losing the way back
※ In Firefly’s POV, reunite with AR-214
2) The Past Is the Future’s Reflection
Time dances on the blade’s edge, only light can pierce through to the future
※ Witness the convergence of “Finality” and “Trailblaze”
3) Flying Requires No Reason
Even if it’s too late, we still have the choice to sing whatever we can
※ Witness the Charmony Festival of Dreamchasers
4) Life Is a Near Miss With Death
Time is what ignites all living things, yet time, too, extinguishes them
※ Reveal the truth about Terminus
5) Memories are the Prelude to Dreams
A single person can enact death alone, but beauty requires a response
※ Fulfill the promise with Firefly
You can either get this achievement or #6 Oblivion is the Curtain Call of Dreams.
6) Oblivion is the Curtain Call of Dreams
All life opens up mysteries, all mysteries are veiled in darkness, all darkness carries hope, and all hope obeys life
※ Find a fragment of Remembrance left to you by The Dahlia
You can either get this achievement or #5 Memories are the Prelude to Dreams.
Eager for Battle (10)
7) Outgrow the Old, Espouse the New
When winning a battle, the teammate who is The Dahlia’s “Dance Partner” is different from who it was at the start of combat.
An easy way to obtain it is in her Aptitude Showcase. Make sure to use The Dahlia’s Technique and enter the battle as Firefly. Then, use Firefly’s Skill until her health is low (do not use her Ultimate). Wait until an enemy attack Firefly so she dies, and then The Dahlia will choose another character with the highest Break Effect to be the new Dance Partner. Now you can complete the battle and get the achievement.
8) You’re as Laughable as Your Cover
Defeat an enemy target with Super Break DMG while it’s under Toughness Protection.
This achievement can also be achieved in the Aptitude Showcase, as the Dreamjolt Troupe’s Sweet Gorilla can cast Toughness Protection on themselves.
9) Dance! Dance! Dance!
Have Trailblazer (Harmony), Fugue, and The Dahlia all use their Ultimates in a single battle.
This is not possible in the Aptitude Showcase, so you need to have either Fugue or The Dahlia, borrow the other one from Support, and make sure to bring HMC to the team. Then, use all of the Ultimates in a single battle.
From achievements #10 until #14, you can get them from the Remnants of Twilight event. However, this event is not open yet and will be unlocked on January 7, 2026.
10) Qliphoth Counter
In a battle of any difficulty against the Greatsword Guardian, ally characters must restore “HP Count” a total of 12 times.
11) Transcendent Shot
In any difficulty against Earthshaker Leo, ally targets eliminate “Back Row Target” 15 times
12) Crazy Diamond
Clear the Nightmare difficulty combat against Corrupting Shadowfiend with all ally characters’ “HP Overload” not exceeding 8000
13) No Time to Die
Trigger the enemy boss’s “Fight in Unity” once in a combat against Synergy Duo on any difficulty.
14) Siren Tears
Ally “Hallucinogenic Mermaid” takes fatal damage in a battle against Elegy Siren at any difficulty
For achievements #15 to #16, you can refer to the video above to get them. Remember that Harbinger of Death can only be found in the Finality Mission. If you missed it, you need to wait until this enemy is added to any of the endgames.
15) Catch the Locust, Catch the Swarm
During the battle with Harbinger of Death: Swarm Nightmare, break the Harbinger of Death: Swarm Nightmare before defeating all Juvenile Stings, and it recovers Toughness before exiting “Gene Duplication” state
Right from the start, the boss will enter the Gene Duplication state – where you will have to choose 1 of your characters as Nemesis. With the Nemesis character, trigger Break on the boss without defeating any of the bugs that were summoned.
Once the boss recovers from the break, you will get the achievement. But remember not to defeat any of the bugs yet.
16) Ragtag Swarm
In combat with Harbinger of Death: Swarm Nightmare, defeat all Juvenile Stings to force it out of the “Gene Duplication” state
In the same battle as before, now that the boss recover from Break, you can focus on defeating all the bugs that were summon to force the boss out of the Gene Duplication state, and you will get this achievement.
Fathom the Unfathomable (3)
For achievements #17 to #19, you can follow the chest collection video above to get all the treasure chests in Dream of Gnawing Oak while also getting the achievements!
17) Ticker’s Vision
Repair all broken Dream Tickers in the Dream of Gnawing Oak
18) My Sin Is Ever Before Me
Receive a letter from the Dreammaster in The Road Not Taken of Dream of Gnawing Oak
19) Only Reflection Remains at the Crossroads
Follow another road in The Road Not Taken of Dream of Gnawing Oak
20) Murmurs of the Long Slumber
Relive past dreams in the Dream of Gnawing Oak
Interact with the lookout in the location above and you will get the achievement instantly.
From achievement #21 to #25, you can obtain them from the Chrysos Awoo Championship event.
21) Grand Slam
Win 8 matches in total during a single Chrysos Awoo Championship
22) Chimera Master
Reach the Gold rank in the Chrysos Awoo Championship
23) Winning from the Outset
Complete the placement matches in the Chimera World Tournament during the Chrysos Awoo Championship
24) Legendary Challenger
Win 8 matches in the Chrysos Awoo Championship against other players
25) Okhema Regional Champion
Defeat all chimera trainers in Chrysos Showdown Mode during the Chrysos Awoo Championship
