Genshin Impact livestream for version Luna V has just ended, and the developer team provides a lot of information for the next patch. Don’t worry if you missed the livestream as this guide will list out all the important info before you dive into Genshin Impact version Luna V in a few weeks.

Redemption Codes
There are 3 new redemption codes released in Genshin Impact Luna V, and the total rewards can be summed to 300 Primogems. You can click on each of the code below to immediately redeem the codes and get the rewards. Remember that it will expire on February 15, 2026.

New Characters
The next playable character in Genshin Impact version Luna V is Varka, an Anemo Claymore user who specializes in dual element teams. However, the livestream also show us the vice-captain of the Knight of Favonius’ 5th company: Lohen. While Lohen is not playable yet in version Luna V, he will be in the near future. In fact, we did saw a glimpse of the Vision on his back, and it may be either Cryo or Anemo (the colors are too similar and image is too blurry to 100% confirm).
Upcoming Banners
For the banners, Travelers will have Varka and Flins in the first phase, with Skirk and Escoffier in the second phase. The banners look really solid because those who already pulled for Columbina in the current version will have a chance to get Flins, a DPS who work extremely great with her. While the second phase focuses on the Cryo characters; Skirk is still a meta DPS even now, and Escoffier is an undisputely the best Cryo Dub-DPS and support in the game.
That’s not all! There will also be a Mondstadt Chronicle Wish banner in Genshin Impact version Luna V. Personally, I find the banners quite lacking because half of the characters are in the standard banner, while Eula have fallen off the meta chart for a long time ago. The only desirable characters are either Albedo or Klee as these two have been upgraded with the introduction of Hexerei team resonances. Of course, this is just a personal opinion and you can pull for whoever you want to!
New Quest
After getting Archon Quest for 4 versions in a row, we’re finally getting a break in Luna V as there will be no Archon Quest for this version. Instead, we only have one new quest and that is Varka’s Story Quest. But don’t think it will be a boring one because we may face one of the notorious ‘antagonist,’ where we learn his lores from the artifacts in Genshin Impact: Bloodstained Knight Roland.
New Events
Since we don’t have any new areas to explore, you can bet there will be lots of new events for you to enjoy and get the Primogems. Here are the list of the events that will be available in Genshin Impact Luna V:

2) Operation Stronghold Defense
3) Sightseeing with Friends
4) Overflowing Abundance
Other game modes such as Imaginarium Theater Envisaged Echo, Travelers’ Tale, and Repertoire of Myriad Melodies will also be getting an update in the next version.
Version Luna V Update Date
The expected release date for Genshin Impact Luna V is on February 25, 2026. The usual preload function will be available a few days before the maintenance date, so be sure to download them so you can have a faster time updating the game on the release date!
