Among many quests in Genshin Impact’s Nod-Krai, The Bell of Mourning Echoes may be the hardest one to start because it’s not the usual quest where you find a related NPCs and talk to them.
No, to start this quest, you need to find 3 items in Lempo Isle without any obvious clues. Only after that can you start the quest. The items are: Undying One’s Mourning Bell, A Horn Unwinded, and Dyed Tessel.

Where to Find Undying One’s Mourning Bell
To activate The Bell of Mourning Echoes quest, you’ll need to collect 3 items first: Undying One’s Mourning Bell, A Horn Unwinded, and Dyed Tassel. The guides will be divided into different sub-headings, but you can just follow the guide to find all three.
The first one is located directly west of Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. Teleport to the Meeting Point: Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop, and head west to the location near the shore.
Once you get near the Tideseal Stone, Paimon will mention about someone’s fighting. Help them defeat the enemies and at some point, the game will notify you about how the Tideseal Stone is ready. Go near the mechanism, and interact with it (T for PC players) to activate the mechanism. This will stop the upcoming waves of enemies and you just have to defeat the ones in front of you to complete the puzzle.
Once you defeat all enemies, Paimon will mention about an item dropped from the Wild Hunt. Do this for the remaining two Quest Items and you will start The Bell of Mourning Echoes Quest.
Where to Find A Horn Unwinded
The second one is northwest of Starsand Shoal. Teleport to the waypoint near this spot and walk on the shore until you reach the top left corner of Starsand Shoal and see the purple rift and the Lightkeeper. Help the NPC defeat all enemies while activating the Tideseal Stone to complete the puzzle and get the second item: A Horn Unwinded.
Where to Find Dyed Tessel
The last one is on the west of Barrowmoss Barrens. Teleport to the waypoint directly west of Barrowmoss Barrens, and look to the east where you can see the rift near the shore. Similar to the previous scenarios, Paimon will mention about the fight, you need to help them, activate the mechanism, and you will get the required item.
When all three items are collected inside your Inventory, The Bell of Mourning Echoes Quest will immediately starts. It is extremely short and all you have to do is follow the quest navigation until the end to complete the quest and unlock the Local Legend ‘Sigurd.’
