Upon facing expansion after expansion, we’re finally unlocking the last area in Natlan called Easybreeze Holiday Resort. While the map is not as big as each the local tribe, Travelers can still explore the beautiful resort and start many quests for their rewards.
In this guide, we will show you the list of each quests, their locations, and how to start them in Genshin Impact.

All New Quests in Genshin Impact 5.8 (Natlan)
1) To a Carefree Vacation!
This is the first quest you want to start as it is the ‘beginning’ of your adventure in the resort. It will be automatically added on the Quest Menu, and you can head to the navigated area – right near the Statue of the Seven – to start the quest. You will meet Bennett in a new fit and a unique Asha accompanying him.
The quest is extremely easy where you just sit on a boat and follow along until you reach the next location.
2) The World Is Your Canvas!
You will automatically get this quest on the Quest Menu after completing To a Carefree Vacation! At the end of this quest, you will automatically get the following quests:
1) To Colorfall Cliffs!
2) To Guiztli Ridge!
3) To Wavey Bay!
4) Entering the Carnival Zone
3) To Colorfall Cliffs!
This quest can be automatically obtained from the Quest Menu after starting The World Is Your Canvas! Head to Colorfall Cliffs following the quest navigation and you will start the challenge while also starting the quest.
The task in this quest is to color the decorations in the Colorfall Cliffs. Precisely:
1) Color 20 decorations on the field
2) Push all 3 pain drums to the end
You can spot which decorations to be colored by the black and white polka dots. After the task is done, you will immediately get the next part of the quest.
In the continuation, you need to color the Airborne Asha more than Bennett.
Tips: If you feel every part is already colored, go to the opposite side of the Airbone Asha to find more spots to color.
4) To Guiztli Ridge!
This quest is automatically obtained in the Quest Menu after starting The World Is Your Canvas! Quest. Start this quest by finding a mascot in Guiztli Ridge. In this quest, you will unlock the underground area of Guiztli Ridge that has become an amusement facilities.
Once you enter the facilities, you will start an ‘adventure’ where you need to save the town from being terrorized by the bad people with the help of sheriff.
The puzzle here is pretty simple where you just need to shoot the bad guys with your graffiti gun. While chasing the enemies and head further inside the facilities, you will complete continue the task and unlock a teleport waypoint.
Trying to increase the difficulty, you will now use a sniper rifle to protect the sheriff and proceed forward.
After that, you need to defeat real enemies to unlock a treasure chest and lift the capybara cardboard up. The capybara will give you keys and you can use it to save the captives inside the cages.
Follow the huge arrow in the area and it will lead you to the sheriff, also locked inside a cage. Save the sheriff and follow it to reach the next area.
At one point, after the sheriff goes forward on their own, they will be ambushed by the bad guys and you need to chase after them. Further inside the cave, you will need to interact with the book on top of a table.
Continue with the quest and you will meet the last boss – a huge cactus balloon. Defeating it is simple enough, keep shooting it until the HP goes down to 0.
After defeating the boss, head back to the cruise ship to start the next part of the quest, which is extremely simple. Go back to the town and celebrate the win before the quest ended.
5) To Wavey Bay!
For those who felt the previous quests are too short, rejoice, this one is a bit long (just a little bit) and the puzzles are much more fun. Start the To Wavey Bay! Quest by going to the southeast of Wavey Bay near the waypoint.
6) Time to Test the Twilight Cruise
Once you reach Wavey Bay and the gang goes to different locatons of the map, you will be given task to test the various facilities. For the first challenge (with Mualani), you need to instruct the saurian staff to help guide the cruise ship to its destination.
The first stage is simple, but the second one with the Iktomisaur may be confusing so here’s some tips:
1) Use the Iktomisaur ability on the right wooden sign and place it on the circle right in front of it.
2) Next, use the ability once again on the left wooden sign and place it on the circle at the most left.
7) Time to Test the Asha Speedrun!
After you’re done with Mualani’s challenge, go to Bennett’s location far southwest of Wavey Bay. This will start a quest called Time to Test the Asha Speedrun!
The challenge is to instruct the saurian staff to help guide the Asha to its destination. This one is also not too complicated and you won’t need any help.
After completing #6 and #7, you will continue back to completing To Wavey Bay Quest. The last challenge is to surf on the Spiritway with Trial Mualani while also break open all the paint bombs using her surf attack. After that, the quest will be completed.
X) The World Is Your Canvas! (Cont.)
Once you completed all the challenges from the previous quests, you will go back to The World Is Your Canvas!
Go to the Brewblossom Stores (underground area of Tete Isle), and talk to Taye. You will have a friendly competition with Venti to control aphids to complete the puzzle.
Press Summon to summon an aphid, and hold the Command skill to enter the aiming mode. You can then control the aphid’s movement to collect the nutrients. After a while, deliver the collected nutrients to the brewing equipment.
After the first puzzle is completed, a Tatankasaurus sigil will appear on the ground. Indwell the Saurian and run towards the level in the middle.
For the last part, talk to the bar owner north of Tete Isle, and you will receive the last task – find the Abnormal Brewblossom, and defeat the enemies hiding inside. After that, this whole quest is finally completed!
9) The Surprise That Awaits Us
The continuation of The World Is Your Canvas! Will immediately appears on your Quest Menu.
10) A Curtain Call for a Colorful Summer Night!
The last part of the summer event quest, you will get this quest on your Quest Menu after completing The Surprise That Awaits Us.
11) The Last Survivor of Tenochtzitoc
Unlock Criteria: Complete certain phases of the “Sunspray Summer Resort” quest chain AKA the A Curtain Call for a Colorful Summer Night! Quest.
Teleport to Wavey Bay southwest waypoint and head over to the cactus masoc near the pond. A World Quest icon will appear on top of it once you’re near. Start the quest, and follow until the end as there are no difficult puzzles inside it. There are juicy lore about Mare Jivari though!
While there are no difficult puzzles, here’s some tips for a task that I think some people would have difficulty with. For the task where you need to find three invisible Asha. You need to indwell an Asha and paint the invisible Asha. Their locations can be seen in the image above.
12) Dreamy Paititi
Unlock Criteria: Complete certain phases of the “Sunspray Summer Resort” quest chain.
Use the teleport waypoint northwest of Tete Isle, and go towards the Brewblossom inside a pot near the house. Once you interact with it, the quest will start.
In this quest, you need to investigate three patches of flower field for any contaminated flowers. Then, use the Dream Extractor on them. That’s the only puzzles in this quest.
13) Shine on, Pippipan Idol!
Teleport to the waypoint southwest of Huha Hill and follow the road until you see a mascot near the resort. Once you get close, the quest will automatically starts. There are multiple tests you need to complete, but each test is extremely simple.
While this one isn’t difficult, some may find this problematic: Ionna’s test.
When told to pick out an ocean-themed outfit, choose Buckle Hat: Piquant Pricklepear and Sunglasses: Shining Starfish. While for the resort-themed oufit, choose Wide-Brimmed Hat: Easybrim Cap and Sunglasses: Waltz of Passion. After that, keep following the quest navigation until the end.
14) Traces of Chroma
Another new quest in Genshin Impact version 5.8 is quite hidden. Go to the location above – Easybreeze Market – and find a store with a star-looking entrance. Indwell an Asha which can be found in front of the store, and paint the wall in front of the NPC with no name. After that, you will trigger the Traces of Chroma quest.
There are a lot of paintings involved, but as long as you follow the requirements below the quest on the left side of the screen, you should be good to go.
The only puzzling part is when you’re inside a cave with Cozalt and other NPCs. You will be told to investigate the cavern, and after that, some may be quite confused. After interacting with all 3 shining spots in the cave, talk to Cozalt to continue the quest. After that, there is no more puzzle and you can complete the quest easily.
15) Encounters Always Happen on a Holiday
Go to the waypoint south of Easybreeze Market, and continue going south until you see Ororon and Ifa near the pond. Start the quest and you will enter a fishing contest with the gang!
16) All Good Reunions Follow a Search
After completing the previous quest (with Ifa and Ororon), go to the waypoint south of Huha Hill. You will Ifa and Ororon there, and you need to play hide-and-seek with the gang! After that, continue with the quest until the end.
While playing hide-and-seek, some players might have a hard time finding them, so you can check their locations in the images above.
17) Strange Encounter of the Tete Isle Kind
Teleport to the south Tete Isle waypoint, and head northeast towards the platform build on the side of the mountain. Climb there and talk to Icahua to start a quest named ‘Strange Encounter of the Tete Isle Kind’. The quest is simple enough with navigation to help where you need to help place 3 targets on specific locations.
