The Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.5 “To Be Fuel for the Night” Special Program just concluded, and there are a lot of cool updates about the season two climax.

This recap will cover everything you need to know when Zenless Zone Zero 2.5 premieres on December 30th, 2025.
The New Story Mission: “To Be Fuel for the Night”
The new story mission will follow the ongoing chronicles of Ye Shunguang using the full power of the Qingming Sword and locating her lost brother. It’ll also explore the repercussions of using this power and her becoming a Void Hunter.
Her sword holds some connection to the Creator’s power, so there’s a lot of lore that will be covered here.
There is some new and disturbing things going on in the Hollow that you have to check out:
New Banners: Zhao and Ye Shunguang
ZZZ 2.5 will introduce two brand new characters: Zhao and Ye Shunguang.
In case you forgot, Ye Shunguang is a part of the Yunkui Summit faction and is a Void Hunter and wielder of the legendary Qingming Sword. Zhao is a member of TOPS’ Krampus Compliance Authority and a somewhat mysterious character.

The banner structure has changed, and the reruns all have their own channel. And you can pull for both main banners at the same time ASAP!
Ye Shunguang is, of course, the focus of the new story mission: “To Be Fuel for the Night”. She’s been teased for quite a while. Zhao is an interesting addition to the ZZZ roster, as we still don’t know what role she’ll play in the story.
