A new gameplay reveal has officially dropped for the upcoming puzzle-platform adventure, Song of Kings!
Song of Kings follows a young Yaksha child who is taken from his mystical homeland and trapped in the human world. Guided by the spirit of his grandfather, he journeys through forests, castles, villages, and temples, uncovering ancient secrets hidden within a land shaped by myth and legend. Each step reveals more about the world’s forgotten history, drawing him closer to the truth of his origins.
What really caught my eye in this trailer is how the game combines platforming and exploration within such a richly atmospheric world inspired by Sri Lankan mythology. The gameplay looks incredibly creative. You use a magical flute to uncover hidden pathways, wake up secrets, and interact with the environment in unique ways.
I’m personally a big fan of the stealth and observation mechanics. The fact that enemies react to sound and movement means you have to plan your progress carefully rather than just rushing through. This game seems perfect for players who love story-driven puzzle-platformers and enjoy digging into deep lore. If you are the kind of person who likes soaking in a world’s history by collecting artifacts and recording discoveries in a journal, Song of Kings is definitely for you.
Developed by Mogo Games and published by Mogo Studios (Pvt) Ltd. Song of Kings is scheduled for release in 2026. You can add the game to your wishlist on Steam.
