Stellar Jades are the premium currency in Honkai: Star Rail, so it’s no wonder people are wondering how many we can get in each version.
Honkai: Star Rail version 3.8 will be updated on December 17, with the appearance of a mysterious character that appeared throughout the Penacony and Amphoreus stories: Constance, or her title – The Dahlia.
But we’re not here to talk about her, but on how many Stellar Jades we can get in version 3.8. Without further ado, let’s go!
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.8 Stellar Jade Pull Count
The infographic above is the one I made based on the previous patches, please keep in mind that these are estimations and there will be probably some changes when the game is updated. But first thing you need to remember is that unlike the previous version, Honkai: Star Rail version 3.8 is 58 days long (8 weeks) instead of the usual 42 days (6 weeks).
In short, F2P players (free-to-play) will obtain at least 14,310 Stellar Jades and 20 Special Pass (equal to 109 pulls), while the P2P players who bought the Battle Pass and Express Supply Pass may obtain 20,210 Stellar Jades and 24 Special Pass.
Now, one may wonder how I got the calculations? The explanation will be added below, and you can decide for yourself whether you want to add the numbers into your calculation!

Maintenance Compensation
As every other gacha games, once Honkai: Star Rail receives any update that require the whole server to be shut down, they will provide the community with compensation AKA the Stellar Jades.
Combining with the bug fixes, Trailblazers will obtain 600 Stellar Jades from the compensation alone.
Daily Training
Daily Training are not something to be underestimated. While a single day only gives you 60 Stellar Jades, a full version consisting of 58 days (only for version 3.8) can give you a total of 3480 Stellar Jades.
Simulated Universe & Currency War
If Daily Training is daily missions, then Simulated Universe and Currency War are the weekly challenges that can be completed to get Stellar Jades.
But first, keep in mind that the rewards players receive may differed as it is based on your Equilibrium Level (for Simulated Universe).
The higher your level is, the better rewards you will get. If you’re at the highest Equilibrium Level, you will get a total of 900 Stellar Jades and 4 Star Rail Pass as it will have 4 refresh in the 3.8 update.
Currency Wars will also provides with another 900 Stellar Jades and 4 Star Rail Pass, so you can count how many Stellar Jades the weekly challenges give you in this one version: 1800 Stellar Jades and 8 Star Rail Pass.
End-Games
Currently, there are 3 end-games in Honkai: Star Rail: Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow.
Each end game will provide 800 Stellar Jades if players manage to complete the requirements and get the highest tier rewards.
In previous versions, each end-game will have only 1 refresh throughout the whole version. However, because Honkai: Star Rail 3.8 has a long 8 week duration, one of the end-game (Apocalyptic Shadow) will have an additional refresh.
In other words, there are 4 end-games to be completed in version 3.8, and by completing all of them, you will obtain 3200 Stellar Jades.
If you’re wondering when the refreshes will be, here’s the schedule:
December 22 – Apocalyptic Shadow refresh
January 5 – Pure Fiction refresh
January 19 – Memory of Chaos refresh
February 2 – Apocalyptic Shadow refresh
Battle Pass
Battle Pass is one method that differs for F2P and P2P players. Each players will get the basic Battle Pass for free, so they are confirmed to get 5 Star Rail Pass.
But for Trailblazers who spend real money to unlock the paid BP, they will get more rewards, which are 4 Special Pass and 680 Stellar Jades.
Embers Exchange
Another method you can obtain Passes for free is by the Embers Exchange in the Store. Each month, the store will be refreshed and 5 Star Rail Passes and Special Passes will be refreshed too.
In other word, you can buy these passes with Undying Embers in version 3.8 and get a total of 10 Star Rail Passes and 10 Special Passes (January and February).
Trailblaze Missions
Now this is something that is hard to estimate because each Trailblaze Mission have different length thus a different amount of rewards. Not to mention this is a new kind of Trailblaze Mission called Finality Mission, so let’s assume we will get around 700 Stellar Jades.
New Area & Achievements
We’re back to Penacony with a new area called Dream of Gnawing Oak, and of course it will comes with various quests and achievements. If we’re combining all of that, players may get at least 1200 Stellar Jades.
Express Supply Pass
Now this is a complete P2P players option where we can spend real-life money to buy the Express Supply Pass. The price itself is decent, with great rewards.
I mean, $4.99 USD for 2700 per month? Sounds like a bargain to me. But remember that Honkai: Star Rail version 3.8 has 58 days, so you need to buy twice if you want to the Supply Pass to cover the whole version.
And if you did so, you will get a total of 5220 Stellar Jades (not including Oneiric Shards).
Character Trials
The official name for character trials in Honkai: Star Rail is Aptitude Showcase, and version 3.8 will have 6 of them that will give Stellar Jades: The Dahlia, Firefly, Fugue, Lingsha, Aglaea, and Sunday. By completing all of the trials, you will get a total of 120 Stellar Jades.
New Events
Each version in Honkai: Star Rail will have multiple events, and in version 3.8, you will have 4 events and 1 update for Divergent Universe that provides premium currency as rewards. They are:
1. Chrysos Awoo Championship = 1170 Stellar Jades
2. Remnants of Twilight = 600 Stellar Jades
3. Divergent Universe Update = 420 Stellar Jades
4. Treasure Hunt = 500 Stellar Jades
5. Gift of Odyssey = 10 Star Rail Special Passes
HoYoLAB Daily Check-In
This is something that many people may have missed because it is not located in the game, but the official forum called HoYoLAB. Players need to make a HoYoLAB account and link their Honkai: Star Rail to the account before they can start claiming the rewards from the check-in.
In version 3.8, you can get the Stellar Jade rewards 6 times, precisely at: December 20, January 5, January 13, January 20, February 5, and February 13. If you managed to check-in everyday, you can get 120 Stellar Jades!
Livestream Codes
In each livestream, the developer team will reward players with 3 redemption codes. Claim them all before the expiration date and you will get a total of 300 Stellar Jades.
New Version Codes
This is different than livestream codes. In each version, Honkai: Star Rail will provide us with one Stellar Jade code in the first half. and another one in the second half. Redeem these codes and you will get a total of 100 Stellar Jades.
