Latest Ananta News

  • A 7 minute gameplay trailer dropped September 2025, showing traversal, combat, city scale, and visual direction.
  • NetEase confirmed Ananta is being developed for PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android.
  • At Tokyo Game Show 2025, Ananta will be playable. Two modes: Story Mode (car chases and cinematic scenes) and Exploration Mode (open city roam). Players who demo it will get a limited edition 3D card.
  • Reports from Famitsu suggest Ananta will not use character gacha. Playable characters will be unlocked through gameplay. Monetization will lean cosmetic: outfits, vehicles, homes, and other extras.
  • The official site states a technical test is coming soon. Pre registration is open.

World & Setting

  • The city is called Nova City (or “Nova Inception Urbs”). It is dense, layered, full of neon life and oddities.
  • You are an A.C.D. Agent (Anti Chaos Directorate), investigating anomalies, running missions, and living in a city that mixes the mundane and the strange.
  • The world has multiple districts: business zones, back alleys, entertainment spaces, vertical layers like rooftops, mid levels, and ground.
  • Expect hidden spots, side quests, and emergent city events.
  • This is an ambitious project that blends many of the gameplay mechanics we see from Spider-Man, Grand Theft Auto, and more.

Gameplay & Mechanics

  • Traversal: Parkour, climbing, grappling, web style swings, vehicles, motorcycles.
  • Combat: Real time, action plus environmental use. Use surroundings in fights.
  • Character switching: Build a roster and switch characters strategically in missions or battles.
  • Freedom and exploration: Interiors, rooftop zones, alleyways, indoor and outdoor interplay.
  • No stamina for traversal (as per trailer and previews).
  • Monetization: No gacha for characters. All characters unlockable through play. Monetization is focused on cosmetics, vehicles, furniture, customization.
  • Social and city life systems: NPC interactions, nightlife, side activities, optional life gameplay mixed with missions.
