Regions of Teyvat — Genshin Impact Wiki

Last Updated on September 12, 2025 by Dante

The world of Genshin Impact is divided into seven elemental nations, each ruled by an Archon who embodies an ideal.

Together, these regions form the stage for the Traveler’s journey to find their lost sibling while uncovering the secrets of Celestia and Khaenri’ah.

Each region has its own culture, terrain, story arcs, and cast of characters, making Teyvat one of the richest fantasy settings in modern gaming.

Overview

Teyvat is structured around the Seven Archons, each presiding over a region tied to one of the seven elements. The Traveler explores these regions in sequence, experiencing both political intrigue and cultural depth.
