The Fatui is always up to something in Genshin Impact and in Nod-Krai is even more so as they got a stronghold here called the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau. In a hidden underground laboratory west of the said area, you can find a mechanism to research about Kuuvahki energy in Nod-Krai.

Reach this location to start a quest called Priorities Firsts and unlock the waypoint inside the labs.

Genshin Impact Nod-Krai Priorities First Quest Guide

Teleport to the southwest waypoint of Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau. Head northwest following the path until you reach a facility. Head further inside the facility and use the ID cards to open the barrier.
Tips: Climb the boxes behind the Barrier Generators and only then do you summon the ID card, or the card will disappear after being through the red lines.

Once you’d pass the barrier, continue deeper until you need to defeat an enemy to start the quest. The first task is to enter the mysterious facility, and you can’t use the door in front of you.

Instead, look to the right and you can see stairs. Climb the stairs and drop down from the hole to get to the other side of the door. After that, go further inside the facility.

There are traps in this lab but it’s not dangerous to your health. Instead it will just hinder you from moving forwards. What you need to do is look to the side of the corridor and you can see a small spaces to hide from the trap when it is doign the rounds. Simply pick up the ID Card and scan it to remove the barrier.

At the final area with all the huge jars, the clues you were searching for are the research records from the mechanism in the middle of the room. The right clue is in the image above, but you need to check all 3 glowing spots anyway. 

After that, you need to go to 3 marked locations. All spots are already marked on the map so you won’t have time finding them.

The marked location on the south of the Bureau is easy enough that you just need to unlock the barrier with ID cards and defeat enemies so no need for guide! 

But for the north location, you need to get near to the cleaning bot inside the barrier so you will gain some Kuuvahki energy, then look to the north for the huge container with red button at the front. Use the Kuuvahki energy to open the container to free another cleaner bot. 

This bot will make one of the cleaner bot inside the barrier to start moving. Now, you can pull the ID card inside the barrier and move around the barrier to make sure all the generators scan the ID card.
Tips: Make sure you’re following the moving bots and go around the barrier counter-clockwise.

The last marked location is at the northeast of the Bureau and this one is not too hard either. Wait until the patrolling bot get near you and while you get the Kuuvahki Energy, move the Assembly Module container in the middle of the barrier so it won’t hinder you when taking the ID card

After that, immediately takes the ID Card then follow along the cleaner bot to make sure you will have the Kuuvahki energy to move the ID card so the generator can scan the ID.

When you’re back at the facility and trapped inside the barrier, simply steal the ID card right beside the Fatui to break free and defeat all of them. After that, continue following the quest until the end. By completing this quest until the end, you will get the hidden achievement ‘Tempus Fugit, Pecunia Fugit.’
