Local Legends in Nod-Krai has finally been updated with three more enemies to be challenged. In version Luna IV, a new sub-area for Nod-Krai was released, and after completing certain requirements, you can unlock the new three Local Legends. This guide will help you find all three of them, their requirements, and the locations in Genshin Impact.

Hexadecatonic Mandragora

Teleport to Piramida west waypoint, and continue heading west towards the shore. When you jump down from the hill, you can see a huge Mandragora. That’s the Local Legend. It’s not locked behind any quests! This enemy has 135% Dendro RES, so do not use a Dendro DPS.

Here are the achievements that can be obtained from the Hexadecatonic Mandragora:
1. Defeat Local Legend: Hexadecatonic Mandragora.
2. Defeat the Hexadecatonic Mandragora when it falls to the ground.
3. Clear out all the Mandragora spores from the first time the Hexadecatonic Mandragora unleashes “Sporebloom” before the spores merge.

Defeat Local Legend: Hexadecatonic Mandragora.

This one is straight to the point. Once you discover the enemy, defeat it once to get this achievement. But know that you can also get the other achievements below in one battle.

Clear out all the Mandragora spores from the first time the Hexadecatonic Mandragora unleashes “Sporebloom” before the spores merge.

There are two states of this Local Legend Mandragora: The single big one and the smaller multiple one. You can see it by the small icon below its HP bar. Whenever you hit the enemy, the bar on the icon will decrease, and when it’s completely depleted, it will change state.

When the single Local Legend turns into many smaller Mandragoras (called Sporebloom) for the first time in the battle, you need to defeat all of the smaller Mandragora spores before they merge again into the singular big Mandragora.

This is quite hard to do as the spore spawn locations are random, and some can be quite far from each other. Defeating each spore will also decrease the bar below the HP bar, where, when it’s completely depleted, the spores will merge and turn into the bigger one. The best method is to use Venti’s strong Anemo vortex (or other Anemo CC) to collect all spores in one spot, and use a DPS that can deal huge damage with one attack (like Mavuika’s Burst).

Defeat the Hexadecatonic Mandragora when it falls to the ground.

Because of the phrasing, this one is a bit confusing. Especially when there’s no skills of Mandragora that causes it to floating upwards. Actually, you need to defeat the Mandragoras only while it’s in the smaller multiple forms. When it’s defeated, it will combine back to be a single big one, and fall down to the ground – that’s how I got the achievement.

Hiljetta

Hiljetta can be found on the shore in Wavechaser Plain. Teleport to Dreadshare Mire far north waypoint, and head east to find her. She is not locked behind any quest. Hiljetta has -20% Physical RES, but the best team here would be Freeze team or Overload team because of the mechanic from this Local Legend!

Here are the achievements that can be obtained from Hiljetta:
1. Defeat Local Legend: Hiljetta.
2. Trigger the Frozen reaction when Hiljetta summons her battle armor to prevent the armor from attaching.
3. Defeat Hiljetta before she summons her battle armor for the third time.

Defeat Local Legend: Hiljetta.

This one is straight to the point. Once you discover the enemy, defeat it once to get this achievement. But know that you can also get the other achievements below in one battle.

Trigger the Frozen reaction when Hiljetta summons her battle armor to prevent the armor from attaching.

At one point, the Local Legend will summon her battle armor on the field; you can see it from the line connecting her to the battle armor. You can trigger Frozen on Hiljetta or Overload reaction on the battle armor to prevent the armor from attaching to Hiljetta. But for this achievement, you need to trigger Frozen reaction on Hiljetta.

Defeat Hiljetta before she summons her battle armor for the third time.

Pretty straightforward, make sure to defeat Hiljetta before she can summon her battle armor for the third time in a single battle. This really depends on your team to defeat the Local Legend as fast as you can! Remember that a Freeze or Overload team is better for this enemy compared to other reactions to prevent the armor from attaching to Hiljetta.

“The Homesick Lone Wolf”

Teleport to Amsvartnir waypoint (right underneath its name), and glide northwest to the bottom of the mountain. The single lone wolf guarding a claymore is the Local Legend. It’s not locked behind any quests! This enemy has 50% Anemo RES, so do not bring an Anemo DPS. However, you need to bring an Anemo Sub-DPS or Support because of the one mechanic from this Local Legend!

Here are the achievements that can be obtained from “The Homesick Lone Wolf”:
1. Defeat Local Legend: “The Homesick Lone Wolf”.
2. Defeat Ancestral Wolf Spirit summoned by “The Homesick Lone Wolf” when it has only been broken only once.
3. Break “The Homesick Lone Wolf’s” Ancestral Wolf Spirit, and defeat it, when it unleashes “Wrath of the Wolves.”

Defeat Local Legend: “The Homesick Lone Wolf”.

This one is straight to the point. Once you discover the enemy, defeat it once to get this achievement. But know that you can also get the other achievements below in one battle.

Break “The Homesick Lone Wolf’s” Ancestral Wolf Spirit, and defeat it, when it unleashes “Wrath of the Wolves.”

At one point, the Local Legend will summon the Ancestral Wolf Spirit– it’s the phantom wolf with the Cryo shield. You need to trigger Swirl on the Wolf Spirit to shatter its Cryo shield. Pyro/Electro does NOT work on the phantom wolf; you need to trigger Pyro/Electro on the real wolf, then trigger Swirl towards the clone.

First of all, deplete the local legend’s HP until it only has around 2% HP. Then, wait until it summons the Ancestral Wolf Spirit to unleash “Wrath of the Wolves”.

Once the spirit appears, inflict Pyro on the real one, and trigger Swirl on it to defeat the Ancestral Wolf Spirit. After the spirit is destroyed, immediately defeat the real wolf while it is still barping to the ground (which is it doing the “Wrath of the Wolves”), and you will get this achievement.

Defeat the Ancestral Wolf Spirit summoned by “The Homesick Lone Wolf” when it has only been broken only once.

The title of this achievement sounds confusing, but it’s actually simple to understand. What you need to do is defeat “The Homesick Lone Wolf” when you only defeat the Ancestral Wolf Spirit once! If the Lone Wolf summons the Ancestral Wolf Spirit for the second/third/fourth time, you should not defeat the Ancestral Wolf or you won’t get this achievement!
